A Few Words About Us
At Book A Time, we understand that customers are at the heart of any business - and that they should be the ones in charge of their own time, not the other way around.
This realisation came from personal experience. In February 2021, I realised the need for one single, online booking system for every kind of business after several particularly frustrating experiences trying to find a place and time to book a service online.
The Idea
Case in point; after spending a solid amount of time perusing the internet, I found a local restaurant that looked nice - yet they didn't have any available times that week on their online booking system. I then went back to square one, spent more time scrolling through Google, and found another restaurant that looked delicious. This one didn’t have an online booking system, so I had to call them and ask about their availability - and was told that they were also full that particular night, but recommended trying a walk-in instead.
I took their advice, only to be turned away at the door, hungry and disappointed - yet again.
Surely it should be easier than this?
In February 2021, I suddenly thought, “what if there were a website where you could have full visibility of available businesses, who can serve us at our preferred time? Or a centralised place where I can search and book any service I need, rather than call each individual business?”
Thus, Book A Time was born.
Our Vision
At Book A Time, we endeavour to make life a bit easier for all New Zealanders. Our aim is to list all possible businesses that require an appointment through our website or Mobile App and help New Zealanders and New Zealand businesses to seamlessly connect.
