Our head chef brings more than 22 years of the fine art of Indian cooking. He worked in numerous 7-Star hotels in India and several restaurants in New Zealand before starting Indian Zaika in Merivale.
We use fresh and local ingredients and create magical melt in your mouth medleys with aromatic spices, such as Turmeric, Curry, Coriander, Garam Masala, Cloves, Black Pepper, Ginger. Fresh and dried herbs are chosen and used according to the season and your taste.
